First-hand memories of the Second World War are fading, as only a handful of contemporary witnesses remain to talk about their experiences. What remains of this memory? What does the end of the Second World War mean to you today? What are the perspectives of different countries and regions?

Film maker Pavel Franzusov asked young people from all over their world about their relationship with the Second World War. He artistically translated their stories into short films. The stories differ, not least depending on individual experiences, place of origin and social setting. Here you can encounter new perspectives.
